The Galway One World Centre is looking for a Development Education training worker for an exciting new EU project, the Global Teachers Awards (GTA). The GTA seeks to develop and implement a teacher training programme across four EU countries with the lead agency based in Lancashire, UK. The Development Education training worker will be based in Galway though the remit of the project covers the Republic of Ireland with occasional travel to the other partner countries. The position is part-time and we hope that the successful candidate will be able to start as soon as possible.
We are also looking for a marketing project worker (part-time short term contract) to help us publicise and promote the project to teachers, teacher organisations and others.
